I was hoping there is a way to put a logo on live tv - is this possible? So if the tv show is running and there is my logo in the corner...yeah, no?

Peter Wiley August 25th, 2008, 08:39 PM You need a video mixer that can mix two signals a la: Video Mixer Review: Edirol V-4 (http://www.videomaker.com/article/9990/) David Delaney August 25th, 2008, 08:48 PM Ok, thanks. I am guessing computer video cards can't do this... Edward Carlson August 25th, 2008, 08:56 PM You can create the graphic on a computer, but in most cases you will need an SDI out to carry the alpha signal to the mixer (and an SDI in on the mixer.) I know the DataVideo SE-800 has SDI in and will allow you to place graphics with transparency (alpha) over live video. Ervin Farkas August 26th, 2008, 07:28 AM John Miller (DVinfo member) has a piece of software that can place logo on video coming in from firewire. I am not sure how this might be adapted for your situation. See www.enosoft.net.
