I am color correcting a wedding. I have shots from inside the house at different times of the day and with different settings on the camera. I want to color correct each of them to be the same - so how can I view the clip that I am working on AND the clip the precedes it that has already been color-corrected?

That's a good question and one I'd like some help with as well.

I want to take footage shot with 2 different cameras, set them side by side and try to match one with the other. Premiere Pro has a "reference" monitor which comes in handy for this.

Yep - I know premiere has it, so it would be good if Vegas had it too.

Absolutely. Select one clip and copy it to the clipboard. Now go to the other clip, turn on "Split Screen" (it's a button above the preview screen), and select the "clipboard" option. Now you'll see one clip on the left and the other on the right.

I checked out the newsletter, thanks that worked perfect!

Pretty straightforward. That works nicely Edward.
