So I used a teleprompter for the first time today...it worked great, eye contact with the camera was awesome, but the picture just looked really flat. It looked fine last week with no telelprompter, but just dull today. Is there something I'm not doing. As far as I know I did not change any other settings...I'll see if I can put up a screen shot later on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?

The prompter may have a filter factor of at least one f stop. Check to be sure you are not underexposing. The V1 is not very sensitive in low light. Stick a prompter in front and it's even less so. You may need to open up or increase gain.
