Simple question:

I have timelapses that I have shot, dumped the 900 or so pics into QT, exported a QT Reference movie of the timelapse and now await your golden advice! How do I set up FCP 6 for working with timelapses. (Which Easy Setup should I choose) (Oh, and how should I export for the web) By the way, they were shot with the Canon 1Ds Mark III, so I'd like to get every last drop of quality out of them, thanks!

A ProRes HD timeline should do the trick but if the final option is the web a standard DV SD timeline will work as well.

If you know the frame rate you want the time lapse to run at, you can set FCP's preferences to import the stills at 2 frames, 3 frames, whatever. If the stills are numbered consecutively you can simply select all of them and drop them on the timeline. Instant sequence! The only issues may be the frame ratio. FCP will conform the stills to fit in the frame with the proper proportion so you might get black edges.
