This may really belong in the Canon XH-A1 forum, so if it disappears from here (the Stabilizers forum), I'll understand.

While operating my new Steadicam Pilot, I noticed that I couldn't get the A1's Zebras to show up on the Pilot's monitor. Is there a setting I'm missing which enables the Zebras to be shown via the Composite video Out socket on the back of the camera?

Thanks.

I don't have the XH-A1, but my HVX has the same issue. Zebras only appear on the camera's LCD.

I actually use both LCD monitors. I configured the composite out of the HVX for nothing but video - no stats of any kind. If I want to check stats, I'll look at the camera LCD, usually at the beginning or end of a shot. By the way, I like the Auto Iris feature on the HVX, especially with the spotlight and backlight settings. As long as the levels are close, I can dial it in using the editor. So this may have something to do with my preference.

No zebras with the Sony Z1 either. Looks like it can't be done.

No zebra, no peaking from AV or composite with EX1, but all other camera data that I see on the LCD is on the monitor
