Hey there, maybe you guys can help me.

I've just started playing around with my XL1 and Final Cut (5.1) again, and I've been trying to capture some test footage, but I can't seem to get it to work.
The audio and video reaches the system (sorry for my bad english), and I can control the camera playback via Final Cut. But each time I press "record", the recording ends after exactly three seconds and I get an error message "Problem while reading the data on the source tape. Maybe the tape is faulty. The recording has been canceled and the clip has been saved.")

Any ideas?

Hm, I may have found it by myself. It tried to import the video as DVPROsomething rather than just DV. After changing that, it just imported a 5 minute piece :)
