Source clips are 50i (25fps interlace), MP4 files from EX1. When I convert them to Cineform AVI (HD Link Prospect HD), with Deinterlace option off, the result clip looked like got deinterlace anyway.

I did a comparison test at the same timecode.

1. MP4 file - HDLink AVI - After Effects (clip got deinterlace eventhough Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF)

2. MP4 file - After Effects (clip doesn't get deinterlace, Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF)

I uploaded sample files, but only a quarter portion of the image so we can see it at 100% viewing.

Just testing the latest Prospect build with MP4 EX1 footage and I'm not seeing this interlacing bug. File a trouble ticket and upload a short mp4 Ex1 sample that does it and send the link to support.

Problem solved by applying registry patch, support sent me. Thanks.

Case Closed.

Might add the registry patch was not to fix a CineForm issue, rather the MPEG decoder has its default settings changed by a third party application.
