We have an old SD Silver system as well as several Macs. There are some features (like desktop storyboarding and the interface design) which we prefer over FCP. We edit films, so mostly hard cuts. Is it possible to run the smaller brother, i.e. Edition, on a recent Mac in 720p24/25 ? If yes, does the breakout box also work, especially in YUV (for Betacam archive ingestion) ?
