i have a pilot with the AB battery .. the pilot came with a cord with a plug on one end and stripped loose wires on the other ... how do i get power to my EX1 from the AB system? forgive me but i am new to this and trying to figure all this out .. i finally got it balanced tho .. lol ... seems like a waste to just use this AB battery just to power a monitor. or heck even if i can use it to power a light something else. and speaking of lights which lights can i get that i CAN use the AB to power.

thx in advance

In order to power the EX1 or EX3 from the Pilot, you'll need another custom cable. The yellow power connector that mates with the EX1/EX3 is not easy to find, but you can chop it off the end of this cable: EXDC1 (http://www.vortexmedia.com/EXDC1/EXDC1_Adapter_Cable/EXDC1.html) .
The center pin is positive, the sleeve is negative. Make sure the polarity is right! Buy a cheap volt-meter if you don't have one.

As for a light, just find one with a 12v power tap and make a custom power y-cable. Most 12v stuff like this will run from 10-17 volts. Here's an example:
VariZoom | S-2000 Dimmable On Camera Light - LED (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/447028-REG/VariZoom_VZS2000_S_2000_Dimmable_On_Camera.html#specifications)
