was looking for a quick release for the stedicam pilot ... cause taking the plate off and then having to inscrew the bolt [which i am hoping not to loose one day] can and is a bit much specially if u need to go to say tripod or just to hand hold quickly ... any suggestions i dont see anything offered from tiffen

I also use the Bogen 577 as it's compatible with my tripods and other gear. You may also want to cut out the foam in your "backpack" so that the sled with QR adapter fits for storing away.
