Wishfull thinking - with no technical knowledge on this issue /

This report triggered me to ask the following question -
USB 3.0 demonstrations dazzle: uncompressed 1080p transfer proves simple - Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/19/usb-3-0-demonstrations-dazzle-uncompressed-1080p-transfer-prove/)

Could it be possible to built a HDSDI in - USB Device operating with Cineform for a complete
affordable and portable workflow ?

Any inputs are welcome - David ?

Absolutely, USB3.0 is going to be huge for us. HMDI / HDSDI capture, maybe even dual link directly via USB3.0 into an Intel Core-i7 laptop or capture station.

Halleluja and Amen !

I knew there was going to be a way out.

Patience ! I am going to wait for a Cineform solution.

Surely there are no cams with USB 3.0 output yet?

How will it work - HD-SDI to USB 3.0 hardware converter, and then?..
