View Full Version : Audio from Flash video not working on all computers.

I've been encoding wedding clips in Flash Encoder, but they won't play in every PC. My workflow is to export out of FC as a reference file and then into Compressor. I use the H.264 template in Compressor and then move the finished file to my PC. I then use Adobe Media Encoder to encode the video as .FLV's. My settings are as follows:

Video
On2 VP6
Resize video to 640x360
Frame Rate: Same as source (30fps)
VBR
Two Pass
Bit Rate 1,600

Audio
Mpeg 3
Stereo
96 kbps

I have already uploaded these videos to my website (Chad’s Blog (http://www.chaddyleproductions.com/blog)) and they seem to be hit/miss. The video seems to work fine on all platforms, but the audio has issues. Sometimes it works on Firefox on my Mac, other times on my PC. After converting the video to an .flv, I can open it with Adobe Media Encoder as well as VLC and it plays/sounds fine.
I would really appreciate any help on this.

Thank you,

Chad Dyle
