I have watched Larry Jordans videos on Lynda.com but it did not really delve deep into color correcting moving videos (he mostly concentrated on still images). What are some other resources I can use to learn more about color correcting? Books, videos, sites, anything would be helpful.

I ordered the DVD from the Ripple folks... and man... there's a ton of stuff in there!

Try the Ripple Training DVDs. Great tools to have!

If you have Final Cut Studio- do it in Color. Much more power than anything you could ever do in FCP alone.

I'll second that. Ripple have one for "Color Correction in FCP" plus a newer one called "Color Grading in Color". Both are by Andrew Balis. Both are brilliant (in my opinion). When I only need to apply a little bit of "on-the-spot" color correction (usually for corporate video where the client requires a very quick turnaround), I use FCP. For a drama project, I prefer to use Color. That's why I bought both of their DVDs. (And their new one on Soundtrack Pro is every bit as good. I've been using Soundtrack Pro for years but, prior to their DVD, was only using about 5% of what it can really do.)

And don't forget that our own Noah Kadner has made a number of training DVDs too!

The Art and Technique of Digital Color Correction by Steve Hullfish, Focal Press - 2008

Good book using a number of popular software interfaces to explain the basics and details of color correction. I highly recommend it for all skill levels.
