My FX1000 reports that my Sony NPF-970 is hot and shuts down. (yes it is geniune Sony and I've had it for a while with no issues before).

I deliberately drained all my batteries and recharged them recently, wonder if that has anything to do with it....

I had the same error with a new non-genuine battery I bought from ex-pro off amazon. My old NP-F960 works OK though.
