I do sports highlight videos for our local high school. I am looking for a way to capture the audio of the radio broadcasters (there are two) to add to my edited footage. As of right now, I shoot my footage without their audio and the broadcasters transfer their audio to a CD and I add it to my project from there. The quality of the audio is not all that great and is sometimes very poor. I need a device to record both of their voices digitally that I can import right into the computer.

Any advise?

Thank you

What mic's are they using? Lip mic's or headsets?

What mixer are they using?
Does it have a line out or can you split the output with a Y lead?

Is it an ISDN mixer or not?

What sound do you want? Bear in mind that some commentary feeds are restricted bandwidth as they are ISDN links and have no top or bottom end to them.

Maybe you can split the audio from each mic with a pasive Y split and then run them into your mixer...

Difficult to say what is best without being there...
