You won't get a great mic. at that low price, just a cheapie.

The favourite wireless with UK wedding videographers seems to be the G2 series at almost double your budget.

Yes, John is right about price. Just maybe you can get a basic G2 system SECONDHAND for that (with all the risks that might involve) but that will give you one Lav with transmitter and one reciever. You would really need 2 transmitters and 2 receivers as you well know and I very much doubt you'll get all that for £200!!! If so, tell me where....

I use a G2 (for corporate stuff) and it's certainly useful and gets me "good enough and certainly useable audio" in situations where my boom operator failed to get out of bed and turn up (she only really exists in my dreams anyway!)

For a wedding you definitely don't want to take any chances. For that price, stick with a pocket recorder and the best lav you can get to use with it.

I'll second Marco. I use Sony MZR-37 minidisc recorders and Audio Technica AT-35S lav mics. I picked up two recorders plus minidiscs and two lavs for under $100USD. Mock the cheap stuff if you will, but I get very warm vocals and long record times and in all honesty, my brides don't care whether or not I used an $800 mic or a $15 mic. They care about being able to hear what's being said, and know who's saying it.

Another good option on the mic is Giant Squid. It is powered by the plug in power from the recorder (make sure the recorder you choose has plug in power).
