Bill Phil Burton January 18th, 2009, 01:35 PM Make sure the macro function is turned on in the menu setting. Bill Ackerman January 18th, 2009, 04:01 PM Sorry I wasn't clear with my question. I don't need to know "how" to get the closest shot; I need to know what the actual minimum distance is between the HVR-Z5's focal plane and the subject when the lens is completely zoomed out. How close can I get? I do not currently own this camcorder, but am considering it for low-light conditions in which I also need to be very close to the subject. Thank you for the help. Adam Gold January 18th, 2009, 04:49 PM According to the manual, about 1cm at full wide and 80cm for full tele, with macro ON (default). Looks like I may be pulling the trigger on an HVR-Z5U soon! Thanks, again. |
