Hey guys, I haven't been on here for awhile but came across an interesting project, looking for some advice.

A friend of mine owns an indoor gym with baseball and basketball courts. He wants to be able to record games using a stationary camera system with pan/tilt/zoom functionality controled from a room 100 feet away. He also wants to record the footage remotely in real time and then burn it onto an authored DVD when finished. I'm assuming a computer with real time recording software is the way to go.

I have already found a pan/tilt system
Pan/Tilt/Roll & Accessories (http://www.servocity.com/html/pan_tilt_roll___accessories.html)

Now I need to find a decent camera (preferably HD) That has remote zooming capability (possibly through a LANC) and some software that can record the footage in real time and then either export it to DVD authoring software or burn the DVD.

One other question is whether I would need a seperate computer for each camera or if 1 computer could handle 3 cameras. He wants 3 cameras, 1 for each court. Their wouldn't be any camera switching or editing within the video.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks in advance!
