View Full Version : Avid Codec in QuickTime

I need to export out of QuickTime the Avid codec:
59.94/1080i
1920x1080
Avid DNxHD 220 (or 145)
So a client can use in a production

Footage was shot with EX1 1080p 30p then put in Final Cut and output QuickTime.

Can't seem to get this to run. Looking for what ever help the Avid people can offer so I can keep this long term client happy.

I don't have FCP, but here is the page for the Avid Codec download :

I think 1.10 is for leopard and 1.9 is for tiger. Can't really test it out.

Thanks Bob that is the one i downloaded mentioned in the thread linked above.

It could be the one I need to use but I can not seem to get it to work. Double checking the system drive the software is there.
