I find the AC-V700A (AC-V700A (ACV700A) : Zubehör & Kopfhörer : Sony (http://www.sony.de/product/cac-batteries---chargers/ac-v700a)) a bit pricy for charger ... The only disadvantage I can see Steve, is that when you are using the AC-VQ1050 AC adapter to power the Z5 you need to remove the battery from the Z5 and use the mock-up battery unit connected to the AC adapter, so when there is a power failure you are in trouble. Stelios Good point Stelios. Although the same would apply if the battery went flat, requiring a battery change - although you do have somewhat more control over that. I only really tend to use the AC supply when capturing - at which point it wouldn't make any difference if the power supply failed, as the PC would also lose power in any case.
