I have two systems both with the beta release of window 7, but one is 32bit and the other 64bit.

When I plug my HV20 cameras, via firewire, into the 32bit system, they come up without issue and I can see the cameras' video feeds, but..... on the 64bit system, I see about one second of the feed then it freezes.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Sterling

True, so I won't complain to M$, not that I would know how to if I wanted.

More importantly, do we know that it is a problem with the beta OS?

I'm running Vista64 on my edit machine and while I have no issues with using my HV20 or running Vegas Pro 8.0c I appear to be the exception rather than the rule if internet message boards are any indicator. There are still some issues with Vista and 64-bit drivers, so I think jumping on the Windows 7 64-bit bandwagon may be a little premature for all but dedicated beta testers. If you need your Windows box for more than just testing beta software you would probably be better served to hold off on being an early adopter of an untested, unreleased OS.
