I Have all the Latest updates, all was working ok, But Now, i have had to reinstall my OSX keeping all my setting, i did not format the drive. I also had to reinstall FCP, that was fine and it all worked ok, the only problem i have is when i add a master template that i made in Motion, and go to save i get a error,(operation not allowed) Now before the reinstall this work fine and i could save the projects, if i del the the motion template from the time line i can save the project. Has any one got any idea ??

Hard to say from a distance, but my first suspicion would be a permissions problem.

Unix (which underlies all modern Mac software) has a robust ability to keep track of multiple users, giving some classes of users access to some things and other classes of users access to other stuff.

Look up "Mac Repair Permissions" as a place to start.

Tho it might easily be something else.
