Some mess around Footage of friends skating a private skatepark. Used a 70-200 2.8L lens and 15mm wide angle.

looks good, focus looks like a challenge with this type of shoot. I'd try keeping the focus plane parallel to the subject's movement.

As I've been pondering how to live without an articulating LCD if I were to buy this camera, I'd like to know:
How did you view your low angle shots? Just wing it?

Van,
What do you think about your 70-200 2.8L lens for video? Any cons you know of?

Steev- I had a Gorilla Pod Focus attached to the bottom, curved the legs upward so I could hold the camera on both sides. I too wish there was a moveable lcd, but it wasn't too bad shooting like this actually. And the the tripod shots I just had a little monfortto tri pod set up to get those shots.
Jonathan- I think it is a great lens. For photos I try to use it as much as I can and for video it's the same but when it is the right shot. If there were any cons I noticed is you need to have this thing on a mono pod or tripod. Focus is very sharp so if you try to do some following shots might be a little difficult due to subject loosing focus but you can def do some interesting dof shots.
