Ok sports fan's
A little Q AND A ........ one of the shots i was doing on tue
was an outside shot not to sunny, tryed to white balance and got
level over and a little bit of zebra on the back ground, Now........
This same shot was done before with my cam with another D.P
and it looks great, the cam is still at the same settings so my Q is?

1. If i would have took the shot would it had came out the same..
2. Should i always have it white balanced with no zebra stripes.
3. A little zebra stripes never hurt anyone but not white balancing will?
4. get that D.P back...
5. lower the gain use a silk...
6. Keep asking Questions and practicing with the cam till i get it right..............

Were you using your ND filter? Were you using auto-iris? And which zebra were you using, the 80% or 100%?

You shouldn't be using gain outside, there's no reason unless you are in low light. Use the ND filters in bright light, if you were using 100% zebras then no, you don't want to see any. Technically it'd be OK unless you're using cinegamma, but typically I'd say avoid 100% as much as possible. And yes, always white balance as the ATW can be inaccurate and have a tendacy to change over time.

But to answer you're question specifically I'd recommend #4 and #6 ;)
