This past weekend, I had the urge to make a dolly.
All in all, it glides pretty okay, however I 've noticed a bit of jerkiness now and then.
I'm using PVC pipes and my rollerskate wheels are properly aligned to the tracks.
Question, should I be using any type of lubrication between the wheels and the track? Also, is it possible that the PVC pipes are a bit uneven/bumpy causing this jerkiness?
Thanks for your assistance.
P.S.: I checked out some Vimeo clips shot by folks in this section using their homemade dolly. I noticed some jerkiness in it as well. Is this normal? Or could that be my poor internet connection?
