Hi all,

I've read the posts which states that you should remove the lens hood when attaching any wide angle attachment to the GS100k.

I've tried turning both the metal ring, in front of the focus ring, and the plastic part with the Leica text, but nothing seems to move.

This may be a silly question but...how do you remove the hood? Is it the metal ring or just the inner plastic part that should screw off? I would apply more pressure but I'm afraid it will break.

Just turn the metal ring infront of the focus ring, anticlockwise(I guess), the plastic part saying Leica is attached with the metal ring. So dont touch the leica text plastic part.
