I have purchased accessories before that when you use them don't perform as good as the picture. They get in your way instead. Can a happy user of a shoulder stabilizer tell me a good object to puchase at a reasonable price...less than $150.

Thanks...

I have a GL2 (same difference) and I use, with great success, the Studio 1 Productions shoulder mount. It's fairly durable, easy to use, and fairly adjustable. Well worth the money, I'd say.

Although http://www.studio1productions.com/dvbrace.htm is the manufacturer, I found it at a better price by calling one of DVi's sponsors, http://www.zotzdigital.com. But even if you buy it from Studio1, the price is $149, thus within your budget.

This one has been done in detail. Do a search and you'll find reams of info. You may have to just keep digging back in the atrchives. I have a VX2000 and use a mighty Wondercam mini Rover grip and a marzpack. The Mini Rover is only $50 but keeps the camera in tight to your chest. it isn't a shoulder mount. Read before you spend.

The first search is on me
