Hey gang,
I'm a shooter/editor from Colorado who's ambition is to break the barrier between film and video by the way I light, shoot, edit and of course tweek my XL1. If you recongnize and appreciate the difference between video and film, I'm right there with you. If not, I value your opinion.... but, keep it to yourself :)
Always upbeat,

Lo-Bar,

Welcome aboard! I'm with you on that game. I'm currently
figuring out the best way to learn lighting to produce even
more beautiful DV pictures.... Sounds like you already know
how to work lighting and such stuff? If so, I'd be very interested
to hear what your experience with lighting is. How do you
use it with the XL1 etc. If your interested to talk about this
you can start a new thread or submit an article for inclusion
on the site here (as I did).

Thanks!

D.eric!!

Hello, I'm finally posting (and probably in the wrong place). I'm a photog/editor from Boise, Idaho. I got my XL1 last Oct. and have done a few projects. I was happy to have some of my stuff on local PBS news program(I work for PBS) Video looks great on the Avid system and blows away Beta sp that we use. Currently I'm getting a show together for our public access channel. I would be happy to hear from anyone in the area. I love this site!
