Hello-

When I bought my Sennheiser K6/ME66 shotgun, I was supposed to get a carrying case with it (now I just have these 2 cardboard boxes). It's supposed to be just this little plastic case which holds the units perfectly.

Anyone know where I can buy one? These cardboard boxes are getting tattered up!

Thanks in advance,
Ted

I'm in the same boat. What's the padding like inside that thing? I also wonder how it can accommadate every one of their capsules. Seems like a lot of wasted space.

Wow! $30 , Hmmm not worth it to me . i have the case and its foam inside and yes it accomodates all the capsules but I think its too big to carry around unless you carry a whole audio kit seperately it might not be too bad , The hinges are cheap and so are the latches.

I guess it depends on how often you use it but I've had mine for about 10 months and it's been fine. The biggest thing I don't like about it is the fact that it doesn't have a handle. If I were you if you have a cam case with foam, make a couple more slots for your mics.

Does anyone know of a well designed Tube-Style case (similar to a lens case but with a smaller diameter).

Neumann makes a nice leather case but it is way too expensive.

My solution is less than $5 and made of a toilet brush holder.

I found the Tamrac 353 Scope case that will perfectly fit Shotgun mic's mounted in a Rycote Softie. It is well padded and is supplied with a removable shoulder strap.

It is long enough to fit an ME-67, AT815b and Azden SGM-2x.
