hi all,

Hope I did not miss out something here. After reading the DVX100 resource webpage and the manual, there dun seems to have an option for the camera to be fully manual. From what I understand its all shutter priority and the camera will decide for you the IRIS based on the lighting situation.

But what If i wanna underexpose a scene on purpose?

Cheers
Wan Shu

THen you press the IRIS button at the left side of the camcorder to switch to manual adjustment of the iris. Dail the wheel next to it and you can underexpose.

The DVX gives you 100% manual control of all functions.

Yes.

You can set the camera while in Manual mode to give you an Auto Iris Level above or below it's target value, or you can do it yourself as explained above.

You have total control.
