Even better - change it to deinterlaced as well. The scripting options will make all these changes for you and then reset everything back after taking the snapshot. Steve Renouf April 10th, 2009, 06:30 AM Do you not have the option to do it in-camera? I love that function in the Z5 for quick and easy production stills. For the best quality, you will need it de-interlaced too. Note that it will not work so well in high motion situations as you're effectively working at what would be a stills shutter speed of 1/25 sec (1 frame PAL) or 1/30 sec (1 frame NTSC). Also, your maximum image size is obviously limited to your original frame size unless you resize and interpolate. Marcus Martell April 10th, 2009, 06:34 AM Ed sorry 4 my newness, where can i find the script on the tools slide? How shoul i set to deinterlace,on the project settings? thx a lot Edward Troxel April 10th, 2009, 06:50 AM First of all, I should note that scripts only work in the Pro version so anyone with a "Movie Studio" version can't use scripts. The script I use for this purpose is Excalibur which has a BUNCH of snapshot options. However, it isn't free. There are some free snapshot scripts, though. Here's one free script: Save Snapshot at Cursor (http://www.jetdv.com/vegas/forum/viewtopic.php?t=638) www.jetdv.com/scripts/SnapshotToFile.js www.jetdv.com/scripts/SnapshotToFileV8.js Marcus Martell April 10th, 2009, 06:59 AM Thank u ED!I can't wait to try it! MM Marcus Martell April 10th, 2009, 07:05 AM Steve, unfortunately the z1 doesn't have the Memorystick so i guess it's an impossible mission! Marcus Martell April 10th, 2009, 07:12 AM Ed i've just tryed it, thanks a lot buddy.INow that i ve used the script,i shouldn't modify anything right? I could develop the picture with the printer right? thx thx a lot Edward Troxel April 10th, 2009, 08:00 AM Nothing to change. Just use the script to generate the snapshot and then print as desired. |
