Do you think that Xtra Jet had knowledge of the cameras or even placed them on the plane or did a crew member do this and try to sell the footage?

Wiring a jet with covert cameras and mics is not a "spur of the moment" project. I seriously doubt that the powers that be were unaware of what was going on with their aircraft.

Also, if MJ did not have some kind of open contract with the company and scheduled the flight at the last minute then it would stand to reason that the aircraft was already wired with the equipment.

If this is the case, then, GOD only knows how many other people's privacy was compromised.

If they were ignorant to the fact that this was happening, then, it is safe to assume that the transgression carried out by whoever placed the recording devices on board has not only cost XtraJet it's reputation but probably put a fatal torpedo in the business itself.

Just like a limousine service, people pay BIG money for privacy and discretion.

they were absolute idiots, they could have claimed it was a post 9/11 security device and gotten away with that as a explanation and reasoning. Insteasd they tried to price the tape and deny it, if its true they didnt know, what does that say about private airports located within major metro areas????? either way if youre looking to take a charter bet you can fly them extremely cheap before they go out of business....

Can someone post a link to the full story? I have no idea what you are talking about. One of the huskies on the dogsled team that delivers the newspaper to my igloo got kicked by a moose yesterday and they couldn't make it. The dog will be OK, but I'd like to know what you are talking about now.

Thanks
