Anyone tried this? One-third the size of Sennheiser EW100.
Receiver sits in cam's shoe. Main concern would be that it only has one channel. Six different-channeled units are offered.

I was over at another members place in denver buying a monitor from him, I think thats the system he had on his pd150. it fit right up front great small size and he said its worked great....hopefully he will chime in with more info

I don't see any mention as a diversity device that actually uses
two transmitters for signal reliability, as on the Sennheiser EW100.

To my understanding, Gints, the Senn EW100 is *not* a diversity
system, either.
I had asked awhile back on another forum about the Airline.
One responder said the transmitter and receiver are the same
size, that he had no dropouts at all, that the receiver comes
with an XLR or a 1/8th" connector, that the audio quality was
crystal clear, and that he loved the system.
Receiver and transmitter run on one AAA battery. They're really
small: about 2" X 1 3/4" X 3/4". Weigh 1 ounce each! Only one
channel, though.
Michel, I hope that other member chimes in. So far I've only
heard positive about it.

Diversity has to do with 2 receivers, not transmitters.

The Senn wall-powered 100 series are indeed diversity.

I have a Sampson Airline - mine has worked great so far – good sound. The transmitter is an awkward size, kind of big for a lavalier, kind of small to clip on belt/pants etc. (because of the cheap/small clip on the back. It does have a lavalier mini-jack so you can plug in an external lavalier. Replacing the clip with a better one and using an external lavalier is the way to go.

Any idea how you'd replace the clip?

Unscrew it and replace it with something different - bigger or different kind.

I wonder if it offers plug-in power for electret-condenser mics.
How is the built-in mic?

The built in mic works fine - just the size is a bit awkward.

I know they come is six different frequencies. I gather that this is because, if you want to run more than one system, you can?
It *doesn't* have to do with what frequencies are in the area
around where you'll be working, if you're only going to be using one system. In other words, if I'm only getting one system, the
frequency I choose doesn't matter, right?
