Hi,

Ever watch these movies where they shoot scenes in the pouring rain? How do they get to shoot it without ruining the cameras?

I understand that in high budged movies, they might create the rain, but what if I really wanna shoot in the rain, without ruining my new PDX10?

I don't want to buy something specific to underwater filmming as that is just too much.

Are there any ideas? or should I wrap the camera in a plastic bag and hope water doesn't drip in?

thanks

You are right they would not do such a thing.

They build a shed or a boxed in unit that encloses the camera.

Porta Brace make a rain slicker for the PDX10.

Approx $170 from B&H in NYC.

May buy one myself soon

If you are really brave (aka strapped for cash) you can make this homemade rain jacket for your cam! :)

Thank you Tommy to the link as I loved the little poodle that "Seymore" used as his logo, but the best part was looking at his profile and seeing the following...

4 legged furries/motorcycles/nature/Digital Photography

It does show that men can love a little dog and a motorcycle way to go Seymore.

As to the hood looks good.
