Has anyone comments to share on the creative potential of using the "setup" option in the custom setup menu of the GL2? I realize its there to set the IRE black level for different broadcast systems but I asking more about using it to change the look of a scene, sort of like the adjustable gamma curve on higher end cameras. Anyone tried this?

watch out when you start using set up with a digital camera
make sure everything down the line can handle set up.

IMO you are better off adjusting gamma in your NLE then using set up as gamma tool.
