I have posted, in the DV953 Album on my website, videos taken in low light. Basically, these were shot at night under street lighting in manual gain-up and MagicPix modes. What I concluded from these shots was that MagicPix records at approximately what the eye sees for lighting (sans color), but motion is not recorded well.
To contrast the nightime vs. daytime shots, refer to the video on page 1 of the album that was encoded in 16:9 HD. Also, there is a photo of the pinwheel in the album.
