Any recommendations? I need something sturdy that will carry about 10 assorted bogen stands, including a few convertible boom stands which are just under 4' long. About 50 lbs total. Ideally, I'd like something where they're not all banging around and dinging each other up, but that's a secondary consideration.
Thanks,
Adam

Try a wheeled snowboard travel bag, long, lots of room and wheeles to boot. DaKine (http://www.dakine.com)

Kata has an interesting bag for lights. It's a soft-case, but holds it's shape and is cushioned. Plus, you can buy the optional hard shell for travel.

Try Porta-Brace. They have different selections of tripod cases that would suit your needs.

I'll go ya one better! I just bought one at B & H that holds 6 stands and rolls up nicely with a carry handle. Here's the link:

I use a hard shell golf club container. Range in price from 50 to 100 dollars. Latches tight, wheels on one end, handle on the other.

golf bag/cart. Great idea. And you can find some good ones (complete with internal separators) at garage sales, etc. Have a few in my own garage gathering dust.

Now just explain to the grip that his new title is CADDY
