I think that's regular HD. Anyway, JVC has an HD camera for the medical community, as well.

Interesting,

Did you check out the Press Release for the JVC 3-chip? It's got to be expensive...more of a studio camera or medical like Heath said. It's got GenLock etc., so it's not meant for the field.

Wondering if anyone has heard anything in regards to other cameras coming? I know we always post information, but is there anyone holding back information? There are a lot of companies looking in here, so I think someone might have a nugget of information they can share...anyone?

People in the know have non-disclosure agreements and can't talk...unfortunately, those that don't know, do talk.

Thanks for the update.

JVC had an earlier version of this camera, using Rockwell's 1080i CMOS chip(s?), running in their booth at NAB last year.

The old design of the JVC Pro site had HD equipment, including the older version, the medical version, the HD10 and some monitors.
