Nashville Country Artist | Angela Peterson | EPK highlight video
Ok so my deadline for this "epk" was today and I got it done, had to throw some of it together kind of quickly, but here is the finished product:
Angela Peterson EPK on Vimeo (http://www.vimeo.com/4589591)
I say "epk" in quotations because I'm used to an EPK containing some sort of interview footage. She actually requested that I not use any of the interview footage that she had, just the live footage, studio footage, press photos and 5 recorded music tracks, so this is more of a highlight video of her recently recorded tracks.
mixed 16:9 hdv, 16:9 sd and 4:3 sd scaled to 16:9 footage on an HDV timeline in FCP 6. Any thoughts or criticism are welcome.
I've shown her the finished product and she really loves it, so I guess that is the most important thing all in all.
Also, this is really my first edit of this specific nature and I'm trying to figure out the price I should give her on this, she doesn't have a huge budget and I don't really have established edit rates, but I probably put in around 15-20 hours give or take editing and troubleshooting a few issues and I was hoping to get around $300 for the finished edit, does that seem fair??. I shot some of the live footage too, but have already been paid in full for that. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanx,
brendan
