I have QT 7.6 installed on my MacBook Pro and watch numerous HD videos w/o problems. I can not get the .mov clips in the HM 700 sticky to play. They unzip but there is a "component" missing - you are directed to a site with downloads but it is not clear what to download.

Also - it is almost June and I have not seen more recent sample clips - anything new out there that anyone could suggest?

If you DO NOT have Final Cut Pro 6 then you can download the free Open Source XDCAM Quicktime component (http://blog.lib.umn.edu/mcfa0086/discretecosine/164630.html) and drag it into your Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime folder. This will allow you to work with the quicktimes in Premiere Pro, Media 100 and possibly iMovie 09 (http://www.apple.com/ilife/imovie/).

Apple only distributes their XDCAM EX component with FCP6 so that's why you'll need the open-source version on systems that don't have FCP6 installed.
