I just happened by the Cineform website tonight, and noted that NeoScene has an update as of May 29, 2009. I have downloaded and installed, and am presently converting a large batch of 5D files.
The site indicates:
Discussion: Important update adds CineForm exporter plus feature / stability enhancements.
Added: CineForm AVI export modules for Premiere Pro CS3 and CS4 This bypasses Adobe’s limited VfW engine and provides 10-bit CineForm exports.
Added: VfW Codec now has pixel aspect ratio controls in its settings panel.
Enhanced: Decoder is more memory efficient by 6MB per instance.
Enhanced: CS4 importer is getting better each day, lower memory usage and faster. (CS4.1 is recommended)
Enhanced: Now using codec core v5.0.6
Can anyone explain this:
"VfW Codec now has pixel aspect ratio controls in its settings panel."
I was hoping this would give us capablitiy of resizing to a different format, like we had in NeoHDV, but I really did not see any capabilty for that in the convert preferences.
