View Full Version : No Preview in Vegas 8 when highlighting files in Explorer

I've recently upgraded to a new Core i7, Vista 64 system and am using Vegas 8 32-bit to edit AVI files created with NeoScene v1.2.1.

I can drop an AVI on the timeline and preview them with no problem. However, when I highlight a file in the explorer, I can hear audio but my preview window remains blank. Since this isn't the behavior I experienced with Vegas 8 on WinXP, I'm a little puzzled.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks,
dp

Most likely it is showing in the Trimmer window which you have hidden. Click on the Trimmer tab and uncheck Show Video Monitor on the Trimmer toolbar or close the trimmer window.

Edwin... Thanks a lot. That "fixed" the problem completely. Apologies to the Cineform gang: This was emphatically not a Cineform issue at all.
