Hello all, I'm about to start editing a 3Cam project in FCP. The footage is from 2 EX3 Cameras and a Sony HDR-XR100.

The Problem is i can't seem to import the HDR Raw MTS Files into FCP....

Do i have to convert these files or wrap them in something in order to import them and combine them with the EX Footage? The AVCHD Format is New to me and i am pretty much lost.

any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

You need to use "Log and Transfer" within FCP to import the AVCHD footage, it's in the "File" drop down. FCP will convert the files to ProRes and drop them in the project bin.
