I am moving from Canada to a PAL country. My HF100 has done well for me as a B roll camera to go along side the EX3. I now face the problem of getting a camera that will do the same duties in PAL. I would prefer a camera that would handle both standards (NTSC and PAL) if possible. Anyone know of something similar in performance to the HF100 that does both standards?

JVC GY-HM100 has 25/30 frame rate and would be a perfect match. Of course it is 3 times more then your Canon.

Bet by far the least expensive solution would be to pick up a PAL HF100 - for example:

Canon-Hf100 | B&H Photo Video (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sq=desc&gclid=CNOqjtXgoJsCFRxNagodsiPvCQ&Q=&sb=ps&pn=1&ci=0&A=search&shs=Canon-Hf100)

The Sony Z1Us do both standards, but is not so small or inexpensive.

Thanks for the responses. I was thinking the same thing for the PAL HF100. I guess I will do that.
