Is there a more painless capture program for MiniDV and HDV than Final Cut? Something that can handle timecode breaks for instance? I never understand why it can't just save whatever it captured successfully prior to the timecode break, and then tell me where the break is so I can capture around it.

Marco: In the User Preferences there are a couple of things to change:
Abort Capture on Timecode Break ===> untick
On Timecode Break ===> (Drop down menu) ==> select Make New Clip
