I am ready to purchase the EX1, my last concern is getting footage into Premier Pro CS3.

I also have Cineform Prospect HD if that helps.

You can open the files directly in Premiere. All formats are supported.

You can import files as MP4, or even MXF wouldn't be a bad way to go.

The only problem I have is that meta data entered in Clip Browser will not show up in the premiere media browser

Cineform Prospect HD works great with EX1 + Premiere CS3/4 as well.
CF HDLink will quickly batch encode the BPAV folders to CFHD.avi clips- directly from the media card, if you like.
