Hello special people :D

I'm new to CS3, I'm fairly familir with premier elements 2.

I have recorded 1h45minutes of video on my Hard drive camera. About 6GB.

I have finished my film, what are the steps now to complete this DVD? Will CS3 Auto compress my film onto the 4.4Gb DVD?

Could I please get some advice on how all this works?

Cheers Adam

The "Help" button at the top of every CS3 app is INVALUABLE, and will walk you through the steps better than I could. Basically, you will export your file to Encore and make your DVD using that app.

Or, if you donīt need a menue, just hit "Print to DVD", have a beer, lay back and enjoy the show.

You will need to use Adobe Media Encoder to export to DVD MPEG-2 files. Then use Encore to author the DVD. Or you can use the Export to DVD to make a long video without menus or chapter points.

I have just upgraded to CS4, and my Total Training Production Essentials DVDs are for sale. Original price was $400, but I'm selling them for $200, which includes shipping. There are 11 DVDs, and covers Premiere Pro, Encore, After Effects, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Soundbooth.

These will train you in all aspects of CS3, including the DVD problems you are having.

Thanks Guys,

I realise that premier pro is not a program you can just sit down and use straight away.. There's quite a steep learning curve that takes time and dedication to get things working how you like. Well for me anyways.
