I searched the forums with this as a key word, but got very little info. Can anyone here recomend any of the material offered on this site? I want to "get my learn on", but I don't want to waste my money. I was looking at several titles, but would appreciate some pros or cons from somebody here, on anything related to this site. Thanks.

Hey James, I don't know much about Video University, but what specifically are you trying to learn?

Hehe. Well, I was looking at the Wedding Vid guide (both the text and the video). The fact that I am just starting to get a part-time buisness going, and already have a full-time job, really limits my opportunity for gathering expierience. Also, there are no resources locally to draw on. Things like this forum help immensely, but it is very time consuming to sift through all the info, and I don't presume to even know all the questions I need to ask (much less the answers). My thinking is that this type of organized resource would be a big help, but I don't know the level of quality it offers. I do not want a wedding video business, rather I want a video business that does weddings. I would really like to get into corporate & commercial video in the next few years, so I was also looking at the "Video Producer" package on that site. Lastly, the "Rembrandt Card"? Any info on that?

While you're deciding about Video University, you may want to check out this "Cyber College" page (http://www.cybercollege.org/tvp_ind.htm).
I've heard from people that their college instructors were using the FREE modules listed in the left-side control as materials for their own video classes.

Have fun.

I puchased the VideoUniversity Wedding Info package. It is OK. Not super but OK.

There are lots of books and videos on the Wedding business. WEVA is the best source for a lot of the information.

Go to the WEVA site (Wedding and Event Videographers Association)--that should be helpful in finding educational resources.
