Amazing, huh. A custom built titanium Leica rangefinder. Heck, even the Leica lenses have a titanium shell. So what that it's expensive. My point is that Leica built one (and the lenses); and since a simple M7 rangefinder can be shelled with titanium, why not a camcorder? Come on, Pana. Let's not be panasonical about this. You can do it. All you got to do is pull the Black Mamba tooling out of storage, buy some titanium, and away ya go! Oh, and please use 1/3" CCDs while you're at it, and don't forget the ENGLISH menus. Thanks.

PS: and please price it right---the Japanese Domestic price.

Maybe Panasonic could make a special edition DMC-LC1 in Titanium... ?? Seems like a great digital camera with 3 mechanical rings (not electronic) for zoom, focus, aperture and shutter speed. A little pricey though..
