Today I went to 7-11 to get something to drink and got in line behind Bob Costas to pay for it. For dinner, I went to a popular Mexican restaurant and walked by Stan Musial coming out. Just a little while ago I picked up my son from an audition and shook hands with Chuck Berry who was leaving the same restaurant after setting up for his monthly gig there.

Chuck Berry does a restaurant gig? Where's that? EDIT: Blueberry Hill (http://www.blueberryhill.com/chuck.htm). (Google knows all.)

Does Stan the Man have a gig there? He blows harp pretty well. I once saw an advertisement for a video he did on how to play the harmonica. Couldn't have been as pretty as his swing, however.

Yep, Blueberry Hill. I knew he played there occasionally but didn't know he was there every month.

Musial was at the Cardinals opening day game. Whenever he gets introduced at some event he always comes out "swinging". :) Sometimes he plays the national anthem on the harmonica.

Hey Bob that's pretty interesting. I just got back from attending my daughter's graduatioin from Webster University in St. Louis, and she was saying we should have gone to Blueberry Hill to see Chuck Berry!

Boyd, you'll know about this. I was on the Hill last year and went into this little bar/restaurant, I forgot the name. There were all these old guys sitting around chewing the fat. One of them was Yogi Berra.
